Puri Association

Welcome to the Puri Association!

We are a non-profit organization, founded by Bedh Raj Puri, dedicated to fostering sustainable development, cultural exchange, and community empowerment. Originally known as the Puri Foundation, we have grown and evolved into the Puri Association, reflecting our expanded mission and diverse goals. Our members are individuals who believe in creating a sustainable future for everyone. Bedh Raj Puri serves as the permanent president of our organization.

Our Mission

At Puri Association, we strive to make a lasting impact through a variety of initiatives:

Cultural Exchange Programs:

We organize cultural exchange programs to provide Nepalese and Belgian populations the opportunity to learn about each other’s traditions, customs, and ways of life. Additionally, we support artists and distributors in inviting artists to different countries across the EU, becoming the bridge that connects diverse cultures through art and performance.

Integration Support:

We provide support to newly arrived Nepalese immigrants in Belgium to help them integrate into the local society and access necessary resources. This includes offering integration programs on taxes, business taxes, accounting, and local rules and regulations.

Cultural Events:

We will organize cultural performances, exhibitions, and festivals showcasing Nepalese and Western music, dance, art, and cuisine to raise awareness and promote diversity. Additionally, we will collaborate with other organizations to enhance these cultural initiatives.

Environmental Conservation:

We will launch initiatives to raise awareness about environmental conservation in both Nepal and Belgium, promoting sustainable practices and encouraging community involvement.

Language Workshops and Youth Training Programs:

We will offer language workshops to newcomers in Belgium and students, promoting communication and understanding. These workshops are designed to help students integrate properly into their new environments and build their confidence in speaking a different language. In addition, we will develop programs to empower youth through leadership development and skills-building workshops. By combining language education with leadership and skills training, we aim to provide a comprehensive support system that helps young individuals thrive in diverse and multicultural settings.

Collaboration with Local Institutions:

We will promote partnerships with Belgian schools, universities, and local organizations to work on impactful projects and missions.

Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns:

We will launch campaigns to raise awareness about issues in Nepal, such as socio-economic challenges, natural disasters, and cultural preservation.

Economic Empowerment Initiatives:

We support Nepalese artisans and entrepreneurs by promoting their products and connecting them with the European market through fairs, exhibitions, and online platforms.

Promote Sustainable Development and International Cooperation in Nepal:

We support private, public, and government institutions in establishing sustainable development projects in Nepal to stimulate positive social and economic change by organizing international meetings and conferences. These events facilitate cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and expertise essential for sustainable development in Nepal.

Accessibility of Knowledge about Nepal:

We will work with different companies and organizations to make the geography, history, and culture of Nepal accessible to people from all backgrounds in an understandable way.

Emergency Assistance through Donations:

We will prepare a help package for Nepal that can be deployed quickly in times of crisis. By collecting donations and working to build a fundraising infrastructure, we aim to support our organization’s altruistic mission and provide necessary assistance during emergency situations.
